Lester R. Abbott, age 65, left this world to go be with his parents.

Lester worked for the Warrick County Highway Department for over 45 years. Lester loved to coon hunt, trade dogs, golfing, and playing with his grandchildren.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents; Earl L. and Violet L. Abbott, his sister; Beverly G. Hildebrant, granddaughter; Samantha Jerrell, nephews; Justin Ellis & Chuckie Creek, father-in-law; Dave Histsman, brother-in-law; Lee Hay.

Lester leaves behind a loving wife; Audra Abbott, sons; Erich Messemann (Jacie), Logan Abbott (Samantha), daughter; Christine Jerrell (Louis), grandchildren; Landen and Lyzza Messemann, Lexi and Gabe Zenthoeser, Aiden and McKenzie Abbott, Daniell Jolley and Maximus Abbott, Brianna and Jayden Jerrell, brother; Virgil Creek (Judy), sister; Vicky Hay, brother-in-law; Jack Hildebrant also several loving nieces and nephews, mother-in-law; Yvonne Histsman.

A special thank you to Heart-to-Heart Hospice for your loving care of Lester.

Visitation will be Friday August 29, 2025, from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Bradley's Colonial Funeral Chapel, Boonville, IN. and Saturday from 10:00 A.M. till time of service.

Funeral Services will be Saturday August 30, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Bradley's Colonial Funeral Chapel in Boonville, IN. with Tommy Epperson officiating. Burial will be in Lynnville Cemetery.
