Lester Mullins, Jr. entered peacefully into eternal rest at his residence on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at the age of 58. He was a native of New Orleans, LA (9th Ward Community) and a resident of Harvey, LA. Lester was a graduate of Alfred Lawless High School and employed as an Auto Mechanic. He was formerly employed as a truck driver with CIG and Gentilly Debris Removal. Beloved husband of Cheryl Chesser Mullins. Loving father of Daisha Cyprian, Toney Jones, and Joshua Jones. Grandfather of Phoenix Naomi Cyprian Wicks, Ja-Niyah, Sincere, Gia, Devin, Ivy, and Jayla. Son of the late Lester Mullins, Sr. and Mattie Bell Sartin. Brother of Joyce Loretta Dotson, Ruby Mobley, Shirley Sartin Burns, Cedric Sartin, and the late Harry J. Sartin, Andrew Michael Sartin, and Angel Mullins Havard. Son-in-law of Bobbie Penns. Brother-in-law of Johnny Chesser, Deborah Chesser, and Treneen (Sinclair) Neyland. Lester is also survived by Jasmine Chesser, Paige Paternostro, Mia Paternostro, Ahmad Chaney, Dilante’ Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Celebration at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Donald Robinson of Marine & Mt.
