Letha Weiand formerly of Shoreline, WA passed away peacefully on May 6, 1925. Letha was born on April 6, 1925 in Hastings, Nebraska. She came to Seattle with her older sister Lucile when she was only 17 years old during WWII and met and married LeRoy Weiand her husband of over 50 years who was also from Nebraska and had served on the USS Maryland and survived the Pearl Harbor attack during WWII. Preceded in death by her husband Roy, 2 sisters: Lucille and Velma and brother Harold. Letha is survived by her brother Lloyd and several nieces and nephews. Letha and Roy were very active with the American Legion, camping and gardening.
