Funeral services for Letitia Lynne Driggers, 83, of Temple, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Dossman Funeral Home Chapel in Belton, with Pastor Joe Loughlin and Edward Best officiating. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 4-6 PM at the funeral home chapel.
Mrs. Driggers died Monday, October 27, 2025, at her home in Temple.
Mrs. Driggers was born March 9, 1942, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Lester Ellis and Betty Evelyn (Sontag) Ellis. She married Clyde W. Driggers, March 5, 1961, in Visalia, California. She made her home in central Texas for more than 50 years. Mrs. Driggers taught Sunday School for many decades and is a current member of First Baptist Church Temple.
She worked for many years as a Children's Library Aid at Killeen ISD and for the Lena Armstrong Public Library in Belton.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2004 and two sisters Jeninne Roden (Jay) and Sue Cheek (Darrell).
Survivors include two sons, Daniel Driggers and Tommie Driggers (Norma); two daughters Jennifer Driggers and Rebecca Burrow; two brothers Lester Ellis (Debbie) and Wesley Ellis (Avis), 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s's Children's Hospital.
