Letty Rivera

Antonia Leticia Rivera, "Letty", 73, passed away October 20, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.
Letty was born and raised in Puerto Rico and came to New York in the 70s. After having her children in New York, Letty decided to make New Jersey her home.
Letty was known for her fun and outgoing personality. She was a kind, loving, and selfless mother, grandmother, and friend. Her home was always full of laughter and happy memories. Letty loved to dance at every occasion and filled the room with her vibrant energy. She loved all dancing but especially loved Salsa because she could show off her dancing skills.
Love was an understatement for what Letty felt for her family. She would do anything to give them what they needed, especially her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her everything and loved to surround herself with them. She was a proud grandmother and mother.
Letty is survived by her daughter Laura Mendez and her husband Joey, her son Arturo Roa; her beloved grandchildren Alexis, Anthony, Dominick, Jada, Jayden, Austin, Alyus, and Gabriela; her great grandchildren Aliana, Lenox, and Theodore. Letty was predeceased by her two brothers.
There will be a visitation Saturday October 23, 2021 at the funeral home from 2-4pm. Cremation will be held privately.
