Levi Olin Haire

Levi Olin Haire of Ellijay, Ga (formerly Morrow, GA) has passed away. He was born on December 26, 1930, in Seville, GA., and died on October 5, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Rosa Lee (Barefoot) Haire; siblings, Rene Weeks, Carl Haire, Wally Haire, Jack Haire, Frank Haire; son, Benjamin Wayne Haire; and grandson Allan Michael Haire; and spouses Charlotte Haire, Lillie Haire and Mary Sikes.
He is survived by his sons, Paul (Lana) Haire of Monroe, LA and Jeff (Stephanie) Haire of Locust Grove, GA; brother, Bobby (Linda) Haire of Spring Hill, TN; and caregiver and friend, Rebecca Burrell of Ellijay, GA.
Also surviving Levi are grandchildren, Alyce Haire, Anna (Brian) Baker, Angela (Damion) Bryan, Chris (Sarah) Haire, Nicole DeCinque, Jacob Ray, Wayne (Allyson) Haire; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Levi was a Korean War veteran, serving with the 7th Infantry 13th Combat Engineers. He was a 72-year member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 926 and was a Mason.
A graveside service to honor the life of Mr. Haire will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, beginning 12:00 PM at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors.
