Lewis "Mike" Michael Combs, age 65, passed away peacefully in Medina, Ohio surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born on September 4, 1958, to parents Lewis Miller and Grace Harriet (Griffor) Combs in Cleveland, Ohio. Mike served his country in the US Army and was a huge military history buff. Mike wanted to be a pilot from the time he was a child. He was a skilled marksman and enjoyed many hours unwinding at the shooting range. Mike was also an avid reader who could not resist the lure of a good book. He could always be found reading the latest thriller or mystery. A devoted and loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend, you could always count on Mike to lend a hand. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Mike is survived by his wife of almost 45 years, Linda Gayle (Danalds) Combs; sister, Sue Ellen Pacula; mother-in-law, Lillian Danalds; nieces and nephews, Joseph (Rosalie) Pacula, James (Lyndsey) Pacula, Jeffrey (Christi) Pacula, Howard (Amanda) Haber, Jr., Jennifer (Jake) Gioffredo, and Kathy Peters; numerous great nieces and nephews; and many cousins especially, Alan Boerke; along with a lifetime of collected friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis M. and Grace H. (Griffor) Combs, brother-in-law, Joseph Pacula, and sister and brother-in-law, Barbara Lou (Howard) Haber; and his father-in-law, William Danalds.
