Lewis M. "Tattoo Lou" Eaches age 70 passed away Monday, September 15, 2025.
He was born April 21, 1955 in Obetz, Ohio to the late Harry L. and Dorothy (Bell) Eaches.
Lou was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. After the war he used his skills as a welder for many years at various companies.
He was a motorcycle enthusiast, either riding with the wind in his hair or working on them. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time, but loved his time with his family and grandkids. He will be remembered as a forever friend.
He will be greatly missed by his children, Cheri Parker of Portsmouth, OH., Eric Eaches of Marion, OH., Christopher Salyers of Marion, OH., Stacey (Billy) Love of Marion, OH., step-daughter, Kelly Sanchez of LA., step-sons, Matthew (Betty) Savage of Marion, OH., Noah (Crystal) Savage of Marion, OH., his significate other, Sally Savage of Marion, OH., 18 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and his sister, Betty Gaither of MO.
Lew was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Tom Osborne, Ernie Eaches, Hary H. "Butch" Eaches and Sharon Whitt.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 22, 2025 from 11am to 1pm at Snyder Funeral Home, Gunder/Hall 347 West Center St. Marion, Ohio 43302. Graveside services will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery at 1:30 pm with Roger "Zap" Sayre officiating. The Marion County Veterans Council will hold Military Honors at the cemetery.
