Lewis Allen Gratts, age 69, passed from this life Friday, May 15, 2020, at a local hospital. Lewis was born November 9, 1950, in Weatherford, Texas, to Lawson and Myrlee Chandler Gratts.
As a Master Woodworker he could build or repair almost anything made of wood. He was friendly and known for being helpful and always keeping his word. He enjoyed time with family and friends especially during serious games of Dominoes.
Lewis was preceded in death by his sister, Alana Gratts, and two brothers, Melvin Gratts and Floyd Gratts.
Lewis is survived by his daughter, Mercedes Davis of Dallas, Texas; son, Jerry Davis of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Idella Pollard of Tyler, Evelyn Loudres of Weatherford, Geraldine Turner of Aurora, Colorado, Virginia Green of Fort Worth, and Lenora Alston of Queens, New York; brothers, Levern Gratts of East Orange, New Jersey, Jack Gratts of Grand Prairie, Joe Gratts of Arlington, Charles Gratts of Weatherford, James Gratts of Queens, New York, and Bobby Gratts of Arlington, Texas.
