In Loving Memory of Lewis Jimenez

A loving father, brother, son, and friend

Beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend Lewis "Baba" Jimenez was born on May 24,1964, in Austin, Texas. At the age of 61, Lewis was called home to be with the Lord on October 8, 2025.

Lewis was a creative soul who found joy in making things with his hands. Whether it was designing tattoos, building something from scratch, or crafting unique artistic expressions; he had a gift for turning imagination into reality. His creations reflected his personality. He was bold, thoughtful, and full of life.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Angelina Jimenez; father, Jesse Jimenez Sr.; Papa, Nick Mindieta; sisters, Yvonne Mindieta, Jamie Croker, April Mindieta; grandson, Lucky Doñes; and his furry son Titus.

Lewis is survived by five daughters: Monica Jimenez, Alicia Jimenez, Lorene Jones, Jovonne Jones, and Jessica Jimenez; twenty-eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; mother, Consuela Torres; siblings: Natalie, Cynthia, Jesse, Nicolas, Tina, Danira, Angela, Celestine; and devoted partner and best friend, Irene who stood faithfully by his side through life's many chapters. Their bond was one of deep love and friendship.

A man of strong faith, Lewis lived with his heart rooted in God. His life was a reflection of grace, humility, and a quiet strength drawn from his relationship with the Lord. His words often brought comfort, and his presence carried peace.

Lewis also shared an unbreakable bond with his loyal dog, Titus. His companionship brought Lewis comfort, laughter, and love. They were a constant pair, walking side-by-side through life's journey.

Lewis will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory lives on in the things he made, the people he touched, and the love he left behind.

A Memorial Service will be held in honor of Lewis on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX 78745.
