Loomis Family Funeral Home - ApopkaLewis Jacob Norman, Jr., "L.J.", 58 of Eustis, FL passed away on Monday, August 18th, 2025. He was known for his passion for saltwater fishing and anything that let him be near the water - his favorite place to be. With over 35 yrs of experience and countless hours of seat time as a heavy equipment operator, his talent, precision, and artistry on a front end loader was truly unmatched. L.J.’s infectious personality brought joy and endless laughter to everyone around him. His generous heart and unfailing love for family and friends was undeniably a blessing to all who received it.
L.J. is survived by his sons Adam Norman (Crystal); Grand Island, FL, Joshua Norman, Umatilla, FL; Granddaughters, Hannah Norman and Taylor Norman, Grand Island FL; Father, Lewis Jacob Norman Sr., (L.J.); Eustis, FL; Mother, Penny Norman, Live Oak, FL; Sister, Nikki Smith (Terry), Live Oak, FL; Nieces and Nephews, Tyler Smith (Raechel), Easton Smith, Raelynn Smith, Tinsley Moore (Lance), Dawson Tuttle, Live Oak, FL.
A celebration of L.J.'s life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 12th at First Baptist Church Umatilla, with Pastor Brooks Braswell officiating.
