Obituary of Lewis William Richards Jr.
Lewis W. Richards, Jr., age 76 Born and raised in Philadelphia current resident of Wenonah, passed away on June 12, 2024.
Beloved son of the late Lewis W. Sr. & Gloria Constance Richards (Buehler). Devoted father of Janene Richards-Brach and son-in-law, Kenneth Brach and Lewis Richards and daughter-in-law, Ziyan Yao. Devoted companion of Carol Tini. Loving grandfather of Brooke Richards. Alyssa Regalbuto, Kiersten Richards, Borui Wang. Dear brother of Barbara, Judith, Fredrick, Michael, Dawn, Gloria, Stacey, and David. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Lewis was employed by the Department of Defense for forty years. He was a master painter and graphic designer. He loved fishing and enjoyed going on his fishing trips with his friends from the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard currently knows as NAVFAC. He had a telescope and loved to stargaze. Lewis also cherished the time with the love of his life, Carol. Everyday he smiled and laughed. They were inseparable. He enjoyed spending time with her sons and grandkids. He will be missed by us all and never forgotten.
A Celebration of Life and Luncheon will be held on June 23, 2024 at the Collingswood Grand Ballroom from 1-4pm. All are welcome to join and share memories and stories of our Poppy.
