Liandra Jean (Allen) Dittmore, 41, was tragically injured in a car accident on December 10, 2025, in Roy, Utah. She was on her way home from her dream job as a teacher at Bates Elementary. She passed away on December 14th from the irreparable injuries. As her last selfless act, through the donation of her organs, she provided Christmas miracles for six families.

Liandra was born on March 24, 1984, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Kenneth and Ricki Jean Allen. She graduated from Lyman High School in 2002 and later graduated from Weber State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She did her student teaching at Bates Elementary and fell in love with the school. She started her career at Bates Elementary shortly after graduation, and she has been teaching there for the last 14 years. She was a 5th grade teacher where she touched the lives of thousands of children with her passion for teaching and her genuine care for every student.

She married Alex Dittmore on May 18, 2007. She was able to be the two things she always wanted to be with him, a wife and a mother. She had four beautiful children, Calia, Rowan, Raely, and Kyler. She adored and served her family with an undying loyalty and devotion.

Liandra Jean Dittmore was a bright light in this world, known for her huge heart and boundless love. As the beloved wife of Alex Dittmore and devoted mother to Calia, Rowan, Raely, and Kyler, Liandra’s life was filled with compassion, laughter, and a deep commitment to her family, God, and community. Liandra’s willingness to give her time and talents extended far beyond the classroom—she was always ready to help her family, church, neighbors and friends, sharing her warmth and kindness with everyone she met. Her smile could melt the hardest heart, and her infectious laugh brought joy to all who knew her. She always sang a song for every situation with her whole body which always brought a smile to everyone’s face.

Liandra was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully in any calling she was asked to do. She loved the gospel, especially her Savior, and lived a life with these traits on display for all to see.

Liandra is survived by her husband, Alex Dittmore; daughter, Calia Dittmore (age16); son, Rowan Dittmore (age 12); daughter, Raely (age 8); and son, Kyler Dittmore (age 6). She is also survived by her mother, Ricki Jean Allen; her father, Kenneth Allen; and by her siblings, Chanda (Mike) Chamberlain, Kara (Todd) Swallow, Brianna (Jared) Jacobsen, Kris (Chelsea) Allen, Trista (Weston) Burnett, and Greg (Sarah) Allen. She has 18 nephews, 12 nieces, 3 great-nephews and 1 great-niece.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Liberty Cemetery.

We are honored to have been blessed with Liandra in our lives. Heavenly Father sent us an angel, and now he needs her there. We will miss you LiLi until we are reunited again. We love you forever and for all eternity. You will always be in our hearts.
