Liddie Brewington Leopard Warren

June 6, 1940 – August 18, 2025

Liddie Leopard, of 269 Warrior Creek Church Rd Gray Court, SC, peacefully entered into the presence of the Lord on August 18, 2025 at Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Center, at the age of 85. Liddie, affectionately known as "Granny", was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and devoted servant of God.

Born on June 6, 1940 in Laurens, SC to Lavonia Harrison Brewington and Thomas "Tommy" Brewington, Liddie was a woman whose entire life reflected her unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. Her joy was found in prayer, strength in scripture, and peace in the promises of eternal life. She loved music, was a talented piano player and singer, often performing powerful melodies with her sisters at church. She faithfully cared for family and friends, through delicious cooking/baking from scratch, sewing, and crafting. She lived out a beautiful example of a homemaker and will be remembered for her warm spirit, infectious laugh, kind heart, the love for her family, and the many lives she touched along the way.

Liddie was the cherished wife of Toy Thomas Robert Leopard, until his passing in 1991. They were happily married for thirty-four years and raised five children together. Later in life, she found love again and married Donald "Don" Robert Warren. They shared seven years of companionship before his passing in 2021.

She is now joyfully reunited in Heaven with her beloved parents, her dear husbands, her sons, Glenn Ray Leopard, Marty Leopard, and Dennis Leopard; her granddaughter, Sonya Bolick; and her siblings, S.B. Brewington, Willie Brewington, Aurthur Brewington, Joseph "Joe" Brewington, Laura Tucker Brewington, Minnie Templeton, Maggie Templeton, Edith Langston, Corrie Douglas, and Faye Cox. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Debra DeShields (Jeff), and Randy Leopard; her granddaughters, Ashley DeShields Taylor and Jennifer Fowler (Trey); her great-granddaughters, LeeAnn Bolick, Kelsey Holmes, and MacKenzie Holmes; her great-great granddaughter, Loddie "Jo-Jo" Pompa; and siblings, Alvin Brewington (Sybil), Mancel Brewington (Pansy), Flossie Smith, and Kay Green (Michael).

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 21, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM at Kennedy Mortuary followed by a service at 2:00 PM in The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow at Burnsview Baptist Church Cemetery, 9690 Reidville Rd. Greer, SC.
