Lilabell Congdon

CONGDON - Lilabell Congdon, age 88 of Sparta, passed away and went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 13, 2003. She was preceded in death by her son Gary Congdon. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 68 years, Max Congdon of Zeeland; daughters, Sue Larry Ball of Newaygo and Sally Dave Lutz of Sparta; grandchildren, Christy Jim Mourer, Cathy Beeman Bob, Carey Ed Jones, Cally Bill VanDyk, Shawn Howland Stacey, Jamie Rick Bowhuis, Brent Congdon and friend; Scott Lutz and fiancée Angie; Tammy Tony Falbe and David Lutz; twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Lilabell will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16 from the Trinity Lutheran Church, 1351 Harding Rd., Conklin, MI, with Rev. Mark Oswald officiating. Interment will be in Floral View Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm. at the Cook Funeral Home west building 4235 Prairie St. SW, in Grandville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund or Hospice of Holland Home.
