Lilla Farner Obituary
Born: March 14, 1931 | Died: May 5, 2025
Lilla G. Farner, age 94, of Maryville passed away Monday, May 5, 2025, at her home. She was a charter member of Unity Baptist Church. She loved quilting, volunteering at nursing homes, and being involved with the clown ministry, as well as being an expert seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wesley Farner; grandson, Levi Farner; parents, Hassie Leigh and Samuel Wesley Coleman; sisters and brothers, Garnett, Wesley, Ruby, and Violet.
Lilla is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Karen, Garry and Kim, and Randall Farner; daughter and son-in-law, Fleeta and Sam West; grandchildren, Wesley (Leslie) Lambert, Shannon Crawley, Wendi (Tim) Walker, Preston Lambert, Jared Farner, Sarah (Jason) Rump, Laura and Carli Farner; great-grandchildren, Colton Johnston, Taylor Johnston, Elijah (Brianna) Lambert, Alyssa Lambert, Micah Lambert, Brandon Walker, Jacob Walker, Isla Farner, Lydia an Clara Rump; great-grandchildren, Grant, Holston, Reid, Stella Lambert, Josh Walker; and many nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to Blount Hospice staff, Chaplain Jeremy, church family, and Pastor Barry and Angie Crowson.
Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Tony Morton officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
