Lillian (Kyritsis) Eshbach of Doylestown, PA passed away at her residence on Saturday, May 25, 2024. She was 89.
Born in Easton, PA to the late Thomas and Maria (Pappas) Kyritsis, she formerly resided in Loutraki, Corinthia, Greece and also lived in Doylestown, PA.
Lillian graduated from Easton High School in 1952 and received her bachelor's degree from Ursinus College and master's degree from Bryn Mawr College School of Social Work.
She was formerly employed as a Psychologist with the Norristown Department of Public Welfare, Methadone Private Program of Philadelphia, National Council of Alcoholism of Philadelphia, Denver General Hospital – Director of Methadone Program, and Associate for the 97th General Hospital – Clinical Outpatient for Substance Abuse in Frankfurt, Germany.
Lillian enjoyed traveling with her husband, cooking, and loved adventures with her cousins Bessie Weinfurther and the late Dina Georgaris.
She was the beloved wife of the late Richard E. Eshbach, MD; dear sister of the William Kyritsis and James Kurtis; loving aunt of Judy Scheipe (late Walter), Susan Vincent (Robert), Jeff Mahle (Dale), Stephen Micromanous, Dean Georgaris, Charles Wagner (Joseph Cary), and the late Barbara Miller (survived by husband Richard); also survived by many grand nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Private burial will be held in St. John-Hill Church Cemetery, Boyertown, PA.
Cremation services were private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
