Lillian S. Kusnierz (nee Tomsa), age 96, a resident of Lisle, IL since 1953, formerly of Westmont, IL, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Edward Hospital, in Naperville, IL. She was born on June 15, 1925, in Westmont.
Beloved wife of the late Ralph Kusnierz, whom she married March 30, 1946 and who preceded her in death on September 7, 1967, loving mother of Jacqueline (Clarence) Saul of Lisle and the late Richard (Deborah) Kusnierz, adored grandmother of Christopher (Shelly) Saul, Brad (Eniko) Saul, Michael Saul and Jeremy Saul; Richard A. (Kathleen) Kusnierz, Rebecca (Dwayne) Marsteller, cherished great-grandmother of the late LCpl Ryan Marsteller and FN Sean Marsteller; Nicole Kane, Samantha, Abbi and Lilly Saul; Elizabeth, Hailey and Peyton Saul; devoted daughter of the late Frank and Susan (Kompon) Tomsa, dear sister of Mildred (the late Leonard) Wenz of Batavia, IL, fond aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.
A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2022, 4:00-7:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
Future inurnment: Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien, IL.
