Lillian Louise Kraft Lathe, age 96 of Old Fields, WV, passed away Friday afternoon at her residence. Born on April 9, 1928, in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late William Conrad Kraft and Rose Kreusinger Kraft. Her husband of 72 years, Walter Ellsworth Lathe, preceded her in death in August 2021.

Throughout her life, Lillian found joy in simple pleasures, from tending to her garden to spending time with loved ones. Her passion for creativity and nurturing extended to various interests, including spinning yarn and thread from her family’s farm's sheep and spending leisurely days bowling and fishing. Her warm hospitality and welcoming presence made every gathering with family and friends a memorable occasion.

Surviving is a daughter, Sharon (Austin) Vosloh of Purgitsville, WV; four grandchildren and seven almost eight great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Lillian's life will be held in the future.

With a heart full of love and kindness, Lillian dedicated her life to her family and friends, leaving a profound impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her. As we reflect on the beautiful life that Lillian lived and the lasting legacy she leaves behind, let us come together to pay tribute to a remarkable woman who touched the hearts of so many. May her spirit continue to shine brightly in our hearts and memories forevermore. Share your condolences, memories, and tributes in honor of Lillian on her Tribute Wall at www.fraleyfuneralhome.com.
