Lillian M. Licata, born on October 3, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Lillian was the cherished daughter of The Late Gaetano and Mary Ferreri. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Licata, and her devoted daughter, Josephine Murray. Lillian also mourns the loss of her granddaughter, Jeanie Licata.
Lillian is remembered as a loving mother to her children, Maryetta Licata, Salvatore (Joann) Licata, and Thomas (Sarah) Licata. She was the adored Grandma Lilly to Salvatore(Jennifer), Monica(Steve), Samantha(Aaron), Thomas, and Emily, and the cherished Great Grandma Lilly to Lilliana, Isabella, Alexander, Kayla, Grayson, Jameson, and Callan. Lillian held a special place in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews, who will miss her dearly.
As a sister, Lillian maintained strong bonds with her siblings, Beatrice, Sarah, Clara, Carmella, Pauline, Jeanette, and Eleanor, providing love and support throughout their lives.
Lillian M. Licata leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
