Lillian M. Potter, 96, of Plymouth, MA, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. She was born on July 29, 1928.
She is the wife of the late Robert P. Potter, and is survived by her son, Brian Potter, and daughter, Dianne Potter and her husband, Ray Tompkins. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Keith Potter and his wife, Meghan; Shawn Potter; Eric Shea and his wife, Jennifer; Sarah Moffett and her husband, Ryan; Elyse Glynn and her husband, Andy; and Emily Tompkins and her husband, Eddie Trainor. Lillian is also survived by her 10 great-grandchildren: Emerson, Kaidyn, Josephine, Reese, and Ellie Shea; Emma and Steven Moffett; Elayna, Cecilia and Desmond Glynn.
Lillian has always been an active member of the First Baptist Church in Plymouth where she served as the church secretary, taught Sunday School, served on various boards and sang in the church choir. She also worked for many years and retired from the Plymouth County Registry of Deeds.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 2 at the Cartmell Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt. 3A), North Plymouth from 2 to 5 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3 at 10 AM at the First Baptist Church in Plymouth followed by burial at Plymouth County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 41 Westerly Road, Plymouth, MA 02360.
