Lillian Spann Sheppeard

Lillian Spann Sheppeard, 98, passed away at her home in Pleasant Grove, Al on June 30, 2023. She was a long time resident of Pleasant Grove and member of First Baptist Church of Pleasant Grove. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother. Also preceding her was her loving husband, James Douglas Sheppeard; one son, Steven Sheppeard; and one daughter, Kay Marie Sheppeard. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Jones of Pleasant Grove, Al; son, John Sheppeard(Shirley) of Gadsden Al; 5 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 3 great granddaughters and 1 great grandson. Visitation will be Monday, July 3, 2023, 11:00AM-12:00PM at Patterson Funeral Home with graveside service at the adjoining cemetery Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. Les Hughes officiating. Pall bearers are: Kevin Belyeu, Jason Belyeu, Johnny Bussey, Blayde Dill, Jonathan Crump and Cam Crump. The family will be forever grateful to Renee Kator(Jackie) for her devotion to the care of our Mother and Grandmother. She has provided dependable attention and loving care for two and a half years. The family extends their grateful thanks to Expectcare Hospice workers for their attention and support to our Mother and Grandmother.
