Lilly Spearman Doyle

Lilly Spearman Doyle, 78, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2024 at her residence with her loving family by her side. 

 

She was born in York County, South Carolina, on January 8, 1946 to the late George Plexico and Louise Spearman Hinton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Windell Doyle and her grandson, baby Paul Culton.

 

Lilly enjoyed crafting, painting, and sharing her love of cooking. Most of all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Lilly leaves many happy memories to be cherished by all who knew and loved her. 

 

She is survived by her children, Kathy Doyle Lewis, Derrick Doyle, Steven Doyle (Tiffanie), and Brandon Aiken (Jenney); sisters, Patricia Winstead, Helen McAdams, JoAnn Davenport; grandchildren, DJ Doyle, Brittany Doyle, Cameron Doyle, Alex Doyle, Corbin Doyle, Simeon Culton, Michaela Freeman, Naomi Aiken, and Esther Aiken; and many wonderful great-grandchildren. 

 

Family and friends will gather from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday October 28, 2024 at South Lenoir Church of God, 1786 Hickory Blvd, Lenoir, NC, 28645. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the church with Reverend Brandon Aiken and Reverend Ernest Bowes officiating.
