Lilly A. Kristiansen passed peacefully in her sleep and entered into eternal life on December 4, 2024 with her Lord and Savior after a long struggle with Dementia. She was born to Norwegian immigrants, Father Nils Nilsen and Mother Anne Malene Nilsen (Andersen) on April 19, 1933, in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, NY. She grew up in Brooklyn and met her husband Ken while attending Trinity Lutheran Church. They married on February 5, 1955 and moved to Crugers, NY in 1960 and had 55 years together until Ken passed in February of 2010. Aside from being a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, Lilly had earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Pace University and had a successful career in marketing research at Data Development in NYC until she retired. Lilly is survived by her daughter Dawn Rubin and her husband Michael and their son Skyler and daughter Malene, son Peter and his wife Ellen and their two daughters, Amy and Lisa Harding and her husband Niall, and son Paul and his wife Jill and their son Kyle and daughter Kendal. Lilly was an active member of Faith Lutheran Brethren Church in Briarcliff Manor and the PEO Sisterhood until she could no longer drive and live by herself. She was a live wire at the nursing home and was affectionately known as "Lilly Bug". She will be missed but remembered as being a loving, caring, nurturing, gracious, witty and generous mother and grandmother. A private service and burial will be held on Friday December 6, 2024.
