Linda G. (Eunice) Althouse, 79, of Glen Rock, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 28, 2025, with her loving family by her side. She was the devoted wife of the late Donald D. Althouse. Together they shared 56 years of marriage, a bond marked by love and dedication, before his passing in 2024.

Born on July 23, 1946, in Brunswick, GA, Linda was the daughter of the late Virgil Claude Sr. and Sarah Mattie Lee (Albritton) Eunice.

Linda's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her son, David Althouse of Hanover; two daughters, Amy Althouse-Canard and her husband Horace Tim Canard of Fernandina Beach, FL, and April Shaeffer and her husband David of York; and five cherished grandchildren, Taylor Althouse, Arin Miller, Lily Shaeffer, Isaiah Shaeffer, and Austin Shaeffer. She is also survived by two siblings, Susan Resendiz and her husband Tello, and Walter Eunice and his wife Mieko; two brothers-in-law, Rick Althouse and his wife Karen, and Adam Althouse and his wife Janet; along with many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by her siblings, Virgil C. Eunice, Jr., and Claudine Resendiz Rivera.

A graveside service to celebrate Linda's life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Family and friends are invited to share memories during a visitation on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 5–7 p.m. at Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover.
