Thomasville, GA - Linda Kay Anderson passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025. She was born on March 1, 1952, in Lakeland, GA, to the late Hubert Gibson Edwards and Ruby McCorkle.
Linda was a devoted homemaker who cherished and loved her family deeply, especially her six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Kay Anderson of Athens, GA; her sons, David Scott Anderson (Shauna) of Syracuse, Utah, and Chad Lamar Anderson of Thomasville; her grandchildren, David Allen Anderson (Hannah) of Thomasville, Bryana Nicole Howard of Athens, Ayden and Adelynn Anderson of Utah, Iris Wester of Tallahassee, and Ethan Anderson of Thomasville; and her great-grandchildren, Kalihan Anderson and Braylen Howard. She is also survived by her brother Larry Edwards of Tallahassee; sisters, Joyce Edwards of McDuffie, GA, and Norma Scott and Rita Swimer, both of Thomasville.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie L. Anderson.
A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. The service will be officiated by Robbie Anderson.
