Linda Bilodeau Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 31, 2025.
Linda Frances Bilodeau, (88) of Derby Line, died peacefully at the Jack Bryne Center for Palliative & Hospice Care Center, in Lebanon, NH, on October 27, 2025.
Linda was born October 22, 1937, in Providence, R.I., to Nellie and Serafino Grande. After high school, Linda attended Boston University where she obtained a bachelor's degree in nursing. In 1962, she married her sweetheart, Roderick Bilodeau who predeceased her on January 16, 2023. They celebrated 60 years of marriage on June 1, 2022.
Linda worked at Miriam hospital, in Providence, R.I. for most of her career, and for a short time, at Cherry Hill Nursing Home. She also worked for Leviton Manufactures, in Cranston, R.I. as an Occupational Health Nurse. In 1991, she and Rod moved to Mesa Arizona for retirement. There they enjoyed golfing, visiting with family and friends, and hiking in the Superstitions mountains with their beloved dog, Barney. Linda and Rod returned to new England in 2016 to live at Sunrise Manor in Island Pond. In 2018, Linda and Rod moved to Michaud Manor, In Derby Line.
After Rod's death in 2023, Linda continued to live at Michaud Manor where she had many friends there both in residents and staff. The care of the compassionate staff at Michaud Manor allowed Linda to lead a happy and independent life. Linda's family is grateful for this experience and to every member of the staff at the Manor.
Linda was an avid reader as this was one of her absolute favorite past times. She also volunteered once a week at the Haskell library where she enjoyed helping the children's librarian prepare projects for the children's program. Linda enjoyed visiting with her family, and her weekly outings with her daughter, Michele.
Linda is survived her sister Rita Grills of Chandler, Arizona, brother Raymond Grande and his wife Ellie of Henniker NH; her children Mark Bilodeau of Hartland, VT, Michael Bilodeau and his wife, Lori of Johnston, R.I., her daughter Michele Streeter and her husband Tom of Barton VT; her grandchildren Nikki Bilodeau, Brenna Allen and her husband Sam, Morgan Bilodeau and partner Corey, Michael (Mikey) Bilodeau, Thomas (Ocean) Streeter, Ryan Streeter and April Streeter.
