Daniel J Miller

JAMAICA, VT - Daniel J Miller, 76, passed away on October 15, 2025 in Burlington, VT after a long illness. Dan was born on September 19, 1949, in Burlington, Vt. The son of Albert A. Miller, Jr. and Nelda Mary (Carroll) Miller.
Dan graduated from Winooski High School, class of 1967. He enjoyed playing sports for school including football and baseball. Dan was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed his special trips to Anticosti Island, Quebec, Canada with friends and relatives. Dan settled in Jamaica, VT where he honed his craft as a carpenter.
He leaves his son Joshua A. Quintin (Tara), his grandson Sean J. Garrison Quintin, and brothers; Patrick Miller (Lynne) and Michael Miller, sisters; Marilyn Combs, Judy Forkel (Gus), Maureen Miller (Ted Bourgault), and Flossie Miller (Gary LeBlanc). He also leaves many nieces and nephews, extended family and many close friends from Jamaica, Vermont - Daniel was predeceased by his father and mother, Albert and Nelda Miller, his two sisters, Nancy Miller and Susan Houle, his brother, Bernard A. Miller, nephew, Chad Bessette and niece, Rebecca LeBlanc.
Special thanks to all the health professionals at Grace Cottage, Dartmouth Medical and UVM Medical. Dan was a complicated patient, but always maintained a kind disposition and made many friends along his journey.
The family will announce a celebration of Dan's life at a later date.
