We are heartbroken to share the passing of Linda Bishop, a devoted mother, grandmother, and woman of deep faith, who passed away peacefully on August 1st, 2025, at the age of 76.
Known for her gentle spirit and generous heart, Linda brought joy to those around her through her love of music, often playing the guitar and singing at family gatherings, and through her beautiful crochet creations and jewelry, gifted with care. Her unwavering faith in God was the foundation of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring those who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and spiritual strength. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
Linda is survived by her loving family, which includes one daughter, Lana Long, and husband, Toby, of Garnett, KS; one son, Dan Bishop, and wife, Shalisha, of Sante Fe, New Mexico; seven grandchildren: Lashonda Brewer, Larissa Brewer, Lachelle Winterringer, Tyler Winterringer, Rayann Bishop, Christina Bishop, David Bishop and six great-grandchildren; Dagon Velvick, Maliah Velvick, Mikayus Marmon, Oje Marmon, Aris Winterringer, and Eden Winterringer. She is also survived by one sister Diana Atwater
Linda is preceded in death by her parents Dick and Modene Hammer, and one brother Leroy Hammer
