In the quiet early hours of November 24, 2025, Linda Katherine Boehlert, a beloved mom, sister, grandma/mimi, and a cherished friend and remarkable spirit left this world.

Born on March 9, 1948 in Schenectady, New York, Linda lived a life filled with love and marked by resilience. She was a force of nature-a beautiful, intelligent, determined, and fiercely independent woman with a loving heart and the wisdom to set you straight when needed. You never knew just what was going to come out of her mouth, but her quick wit and infamous one-liners made ordinary moments truly unforgettable. While life often presented her with significant challenges, her fighting spirit and sheer will to overcome refused to let her be kept down. That same resilient spirit now lives within her family, and it is this legacy of strength that will carry us through this time of immense sorrow.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Verla La Fleche, her sister Mary Ellen La Fleche, and daughter, Jennifer Patrick. She is survived by her children Kara Janda and MaryEllen Kimbrough and her husband Rob; Siblings Paul La Fleche and his wife Lucy, and sister Annette LuBrant and her husband Donald; son-in-law Ed Patrick; grandchildren Jackson and Annie Patrick, and Lauren and Emily Janda, along with many loving nephews.

We want to offer our sincere appreciation to the wonderful caregivers and hospice nurses who supported mom with such patience and tenderness this past year. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

The family will hold a celebration of life at The Foundry Church on Saturday November 29th at 11 a.m, located at 8350 Jones Road, Houston, Texas 77065. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).

While her passing was anticipated, the profound finality of losing such an incredible woman is something for which one is never truly prepared, but we know her light will continue to shine brightly in our memories and hearts forever.
