Linda Marie Carroll, age 77, of Talco, Texas, passed away on February 22, 2025, in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
Linda was born on June 10, 1947, in Abilene, Texas to Allan DeShazo Tarrant and Dorothy Louise (Harwell) Tarrant. She married her beloved husband, James David Carroll in Tijuana, Mexico in 1969. Linda and James were both pilots. Linda had a master’s degree in business and education and worked as a teletype operator, working for newspapers all over the United States. She also worked for the Titus County Sheriff’s Office as a jail manager.
Linda is survived by her son, Allan David Carroll, and wife, Jessica Jones Carroll, her stepdaughter, Leslie Lynn Carroll, her grandson, Haxan Hadrian Carroll, and her nephews; Adam Wade Monroe and Jason David Rader.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allan and Dorothy Tarrant, and her husband, James David Carroll.
