Mrs. Linda Kay Corkins, age 71, our caring, determined, kind, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on September 2, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was born on April 7, 1954, in Caro, Michigan, a daughter of John & Virginia (Ziegler) Millerov. Through school she met the love-of-her-life, Michael “Mike” Corkins. The high school sweethearts were wed on September 16, 1970. Together they shared countless memories, raised their children, and celebrated 55 years of marriage. Linda was a loving homemaker; her home was the place to be at Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas. Linda was a talented gardener, and one could often find her tending to her flower beds or watching the birds visit her feeders. She loved the outdoors and time spent around a good bonfire. Linda also had a large collection of turtles. Above all, Linda loved her family and was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is forever loved by her husband, Mike Corkins; daughters, Alissa (Chuck) Harrington, and Justine Corkins; grandchildren, Jared Harrington, and Erin Harrington; siblings: Gary (Sharon) Millerov, Brian Millerov, Karen McCloskey, and Nancy Nephew; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her son, Jason Corkins; parents, John & Virginia Millerov; and brother, Lee Millerov.
Private arrangements have been made.
