Linda J. (Hackley) Dozier, age 79, of McKees Rocks, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Beloved wife of 49 years to the late Daniel L. "Butch" Dozier, Sr. Beloved daughter of Genevieve Mennifield. Loving mother of Dana (Henry) Becoate, Danielle (David) Lazaro, Daniel (Tosha) Dozier, Jr.,; cherished grandmother of Kia, Bobby, Kandace, Chris, DaVelle, Chyanne, Jada, and Daniell III, and Kiyrie; great-grandmother of De'Von, Dion, Tre, Zyan, Zoe, Ryder, Rohan, Reagan, Carter, Riley, Faith, Harris and Phebee; great-great grandmother of Jamirre and De'Von II. Sister of Rhonda Pierce and Carla Newman, Karen Hackley, and the late Perry Hackley and Fern Hackley. Linda was an active member and usher at Trinity AME Zion Church in Sheraden. She was a devoted and loving caregiver for over 50 years at the Allegheny Valley School and the Verland Foundation, Inc were she retired from in 2017. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan and enjoyed cooking and baking. Linda was also devoted to her family and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Relatives and friends will be received at Trinity AME Zion Church, 3105 Allendale Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15204 on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 11AM until time of service at 12 PM. Interment to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Kennedy Township. Arrangements entrusted to McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis (Kennedy Township) PA 15108.
