LINDA GALE FOWLER, 79, of Loris, SC, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center in Wilmington, NC, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born February 5, 1946 in Loris, SC, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur F. Fowler and Inez Graham Fowler.
She was preceded in death by her infant brother, Wilbur F. Fowler, Jr., and her older sister Elsie Fowler Long. She is survived by her nieces Cheri L. Thomas (Bobby) of Wilmington, NC and Jerrie L. Moore (Guy) of Carolina Beach, NC. Great nephews Shawn Bennett (Meghan) and Brandon Bennett, and Great Niece Bailey Messick (Jordan) all of Wilmington, NC and their little ones, who loved her so much, Lilly and Mason Bennett, and Weller and Mirra Messick.
To honor her wishes, there will be a private gathering of her family and close friends to celebrate her life at a later date.
The family asks all who knew her to remember her by respecting nature, all its animals and by doing random acts of kindness.
A special Thank-you to all the doctors, nurses and staff that provided Linda with hope, encouragement and such compassionate and excellent care at Loris' McLeod Hospital, Coastal Cancer Center and Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
