Linda Ann Gilcrest (nee Thomas) age 77 years of Gibbstown passed away on Wednesday October 1, 2025 in Inspira Hospital, Mullica Hill. She was born in Woodbury, raised in Paulsboro and was a graduate of Paulsboro High School. Mrs. Gilcrest worked for Acme Markets in Paulsboro until they closed and then in Woodbury. She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael's Church in Gibbstown. Mrs. Gilcrest enjoyed reading, crocheting and gardening in her yard. She is survived by her sons, Christopher Gilcrest Sr. of Mantua, Anthony and Nicole Gilcrest of Sicklerville and Nicholas Gilcrest of Gibbstown; her grandchildren, Christopher Gilcrest Jr. and his companion, Emily, Morgan Gilcrest and her fiancé, Frank, Gianna, Luca and Valentino Genoese; her sister, Kathy Coniglio of Swedesboro; her sister-in-law, Rosemary Gilcrest of Paulsboro and her pet dog, Sunny. Mrs. Gilcrest was predeceased by her husband, William E. Gilcrest and her pet dog, Rocco. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 AM Thursday October 9, 2025 in St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael's Church, 313 Memorial Ave., Gibbstown. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Thursday morning after 10 AM in church until Mass time. Inurnment Private. Arrangements by McBride – Foley Funeral Home, Paulsboro. Contributions can be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Memories can be shared at www.mcbridefoleyfh.com.
