On Saturday, August 23, 2025, Saratoga Ave. lost a very dear friend, Linda "Lu" Gonzales, passed away peacefully at her home. Born on June 5, 1942, in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Hellen Gonzales and John Gonzales. Linda moved to AIM Services and started working at Saratoga Bridges in 1988.

Linda lived her life with strength, kindness, and a gentle spirit that touched everyone around her. She found joy and purpose in taking care of everything, always neat and tidy and wanting things to be just so, including the way she looked.

Linda especially enjoyed observing people and loved peace and quiet. She loved doing arts and crafts, a hobby that allowed her to share her creativity and bring smiles to those she cared about.

She will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, and the joy she brought into the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Tunison Funeral Home, 105 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. A burial will follow at Greenridge Cemetery, Saratoga Springs, NY. All who knew and loved Linda are invited to attend and celebrate her life.

Linda's memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her, and all whose lives were brightened by her presence.
