Ms. Linda Hargrove, age 65 of Gilbertsville, KY, died on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at her home. Linda was a very liked person. She retired at TVA as an Electrician in Substations. She was well known for her highly skilled welding on big metal bus structures in substations. She was very proud of her work that she accomplished. She was a member of the IBEW 429 and was of the Church of Christ faith.
Linda, had a very good sense of humor. She was always in a good mood keeping everyone in the crew in a happy spirit. She will be missed.
Born Monday, June 17, 1957, she was the daughter of the late William Lawrence "Larry" Traughber and the late Martha Frances (Smith) Traughber.
Surviving are son, Anthony Hargrove, wife Kathy of Calvert City, KY, brother, Gary Traughber of Murray, KY, sister, Anna Marie Redden, husband Dennis of Benton, KY, step-mother, Betty (Sirls) Traughber of Hardin, KY, and grandchildren, Anthony Kailan Hargrove, Evan Hargrove, and Katie Hargrove, and her 2 dogs, Langston and Nugget.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with David Smith officiating.
Inurnment will follow in the Marshall County Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Marshall County Animal Shelter, 839 Hollytown Road
