Mrs. Linda Faye Herosian passed peacefully with friends and family at the Transitions Hospice Home in Raleigh, NC on Sept. 1, 2025, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her devoted husband and best friend of 29 years, Alan G. Herosian of Cary, NC, her son Kyle R. Bryant, his wife Melanie and daughter Stori, also of Cary, NC. In addition, Linda, the eldest, had four sisters, Helen Kidd of Indianapolis, IN, Kathy Ison of Big Stone Gap, VA, Terry Crady and Vivian Rakestraw, both of Louisville, KY , their family members and stepson Ross A. Herosian , wife Megan and son Max, and stepdaughter Lauren K. Herosian, all of Orlando, Fl.
Linda was born in Panama to Rex and Leticia Robbins and graduated from Southern High School in Louisville, KY. She attended and graduated from Indiana University and IPFW Dental School, as she pursued her early career in dental hygiene. Subsequently, she worked in the software industry with time spent with Adobe Systems and Electronics for Imaging before working at Duke Clinical Research Institute in Durham, NC. Her assignments led her to live in many places including KY,
IN, TX and CT before settling in NC.
Linda loved to travel, particularly her summer vacation trips to Cape Cod, and was a generous, passionate, supportive friend and family member, and avid gardener who also enjoyed playing her piano. Linda was loved by all who knew her and always provided encouragement, inspiration and a profile in courage, particularly during her health crisis and struggles the past 3 years.
A memorial service will be held at the Walker's Funeral Home in Chapel Hill, NC, 11680 US 15501 North, Chapel Hill, NC 27517 on Friday Sept. 19 at 2:00 pm, followed by a fellowship reception there for all attendees to celebrate and remember her life and cherish her memory. Donations in lieu of flowers should be sent in Linda’s name to the Wake Med Cancer Center, 210 Asheville Avenue, suite 440, Cary, NC 27518.
