Linda Weaver Hicks, aged 81, passed away on July 5, 2024, in Loganville, GA. Born on January 8, 1943, Linda was a beacon of love, faith, and strength throughout her life.
Linda dedicated over three decades to Wells Fargo, demonstrating her commitment and work ethic. Her deep faith was reflected in her active participation in her church where she sang in the choir, and she was a founding member of the El Tehran Chorus with the Daughters of the Nile, an organization she joined in 1991. Linda served as Queen of El Tehran Temple #121 and was known for her servanthood and leadership.
She is survived by her son, Russell Hicks (Cammie), daughter, Stacy Kitterman; sons, Ray Hicks (Larry), and Brett Hicks (Danielle); and grandchildren, Tyler, Tanner, Erika (Jarrod), Catelyn (Jesse), Caleb, Zachery, Kaytlynn (Daniel), Tyleigh (Matt), Ashley (Robby), and Stephanie, Conner, Chloe. Linda was also a proud great-grandmother to 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hicks; daughter, Tonya Hester; and son, Jeff Hester.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2pm Sunday July 28, 2024 at Hope Community Fellowship (4037 Bailey Circle Loganville, GA) Service will be conducted by her pastor of 20+ years, Pastor Brent Ross, celebrating Linda's remarkable life and legacy. The family will receive friends at the same location at 1pm. Flowers can be sent to Hope Community Fellowship; in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in her name to Hope Community Fellowship. Linda's unwavering love and dedication to her family and community will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
