Linda Kay Wiggins Horton, 76, of 10 Boogie Lane, Eure, NC passed away peacefully in her sleep Tuesday April 29, 2025, in her home.
Mrs. Horton was born in Suffolk, VA and was the daughter of the late Samuel Edward “Eddie” and Winnie Lou Sewell Wiggins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Earl “Redd” Wiggins.
Linda loved everyone and everyone that knew her loved her. She had a love for animals including her birds and flowers and also cooking. She loved spending time with her family and going gambling with her close friends Mack and Ann Powell. She was a produce manager at Family Foods for years and she helped a close friend at Dave’s Place for some years.
Surviving is her husband of 58 years, Robert Earl Horton; a daughter, Stacy Lynn “Carolina” Horton which was her best friend, of Eure,NC; a son, Gregory Earl “Greg” Horton of Capron, VA; a granddaughter, Bridgette Anne Horton, who was her pride and joy, of Capron, VA; and a brother, Edward Ray Wiggins and wife, Lynnette of Dinwiddie, VA and their son, Jeff Wiggins. Also surviving are her three dogs, Bubby, Sissy, and Oreo; and a horse, Baby Jade.
Big thank you to Miriah Smith and ShiAnne Williams for all the care and unconditional love she received.
There will be no services held at this time, but visitors are welcome at the home.
