Linda Kay Smith Huggins, 68, Parkersburg, WV, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025 surrounded by loved ones at home. Born in Marietta, OH, on September 9, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Madeline Lawson Smith and Laco Dennis Smith. Linda was a 1975 graduate of St. Marys High School. Linda worked at the Highway Grill, the State of AZ, and owned several small businesses along side her husband, Colin Huggins. She was best known for her witty comebacks and loyal commitments to her family and friends.
She will be remembered by her daughter, Samantha (Bradley) Blouir; grandson, Hunter Blouir; sister, Mary Smith Powell; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings, Gene Smith, Joann Buchann, Frank Smith, Diana Maston, Joyce Ankrom, Larry Smith, Michael Smith, and Thomas Smith.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV with Pastor Rex Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasants Memorial Estates. Friends may call from 12 to 2 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the funeral home.
