Linda Kay Wallace Moody, 71, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024 at her residence.
She was born in Hartford City on January 21, 1953 to George W. Wallace II and Vera M. (Brenner) Wallace. Her parents precede her in death.
Linda graduated from Blackford High School in 1973 and received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ashford University in Iowa in 2000. She formerly worked at Jay/Randolph Developmental Services in Winchester.
She married Charles Everett Moody on August 2, 2004 in Vernon, IN. He passed away on August 16, 2020.
Linda enjoyed crafting and sewing. She also liked to read an enjoyable book. Her smile was contagious and she loved to spend time with her grandkids. They were her world.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Stacey R. (husband, Jeremy) Berry of Hartford City, Jennifer Ann (husband, Tony) Miller of Montpelier and Kyle T. McCammon (fiancé, Desiree) of Hartford City; grandchildren, Joshua Caldwell (fiancé, Destany), Dylan (wife, Bri) Berry, Rosalie Berry, Skye Berry, Trinity Berry, Terry Miller, Jase Miller, Klayten McCammon, Kaleb McCammon, Bentley Castillo, Peyton Waters, and Ryerson McCammon; step-children, Charles Bryan (wife, Robin) Moody of Warsaw, KY, Tina Louise Moody of Columbus and Bert (wife, Barbara) Casterline of White Cloud, MI; 4 step-grandchildren; brother, George W. Wallace III of Hartford City, Vickie J. (husband, Terry) Ruble of Kokomo, Elizabeth A. Wallace of Kokomo and Cynthia J. (husband, Skip) McCray of Rochester; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 1 pm Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City with Pastor Larry Berry officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Muncie.
Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Keplinger Funeral Home.
