Linda Lehman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Auble Funeral Home - Orrville on Dec. 15, 2025.
Linda L. Lehman, age 83, of Orrville, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, at her home, following a courageous nine-month battle with cancer.
Linda was born on January 30, 1942, in Wooster, Ohio to the late Carl and Mary (Buchman) Johnson. She graduated from Wooster High School with the Class of 1960 and married Alfred D. Lehman on September 30, 1964, in Wooster.
Linda had a long and dedicated career as a bookkeeper, working for over 40 years at Wooster Products, Retzler True Value Hardware, and Magic Garage Door in Orrville before retiring in 2004.
Linda cherished her time with family and friends - old and new. She was known for her dedication to keeping in touch, sending hundreds of cards and texts to her network of loved ones. She was curious and open to hearing about your life and sharing a story or laugh - often over a good happy hour and she would "tell it like it was." Linda was the Mom who was up for anything.
Linda made many life-long friends from childhood through high school and beyond. She was proud to give her time to maintaining connections and information about her 1960 Wooster High School classmates.
Linda enjoyed traveling and took many trips. She was a well-versed card player and enjoyed playing games and the daily Wordle. She had a passion for sports and was always up to date with current teams. Linda adored animals and would want to meet any that crossed her path. She provided a good life to many cats inside and outside of her home.
Linda is survived by her husband, Al; her daughter, Lisa (Wendy Weirich) Lehman of Minneapolis, MN; her son, David (Laura Fratianne) Lehman of Chicago, IL; her brother, Jerrold Johnson of Des Moines, IA; her niece, Jenny (Rodger) Manzer; extended family of in-laws and nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Charlie.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial of cremated remains will take place at Dalton Cemetery.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Barbara and Dave Glauer of Mooresville, North Carolina and the dedicated care teams from Aultman Hospital and Aultman Hospice - specifically Linda Fitzgerald and Julie Wanner.
