O B I T U A R Y
Linda Marie Key Grimsley of Campbellsville, Kentucky, formerly of Greensburg, born as the third child on April 2, 1945 to the late Arles Key and Edna Rebecca Bilbrey Key. She was born on the kitchen table in her parents' home in Monterey, Tennessee and passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2025 surrounded by family at Bluegrass Way in Campbellsville. She was 80 years and 23 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was an active member of the Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church for 54 years. She loved life, loved to shop, go dancing, play bunco, and work in her flowers. She graduated from Monterey High School and Cookeville Secretarial School and was a former business office manager for Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital.
Linda married the love of her life Jack Grimsley also of Campbellsville (formerly of Greensburg) on May 29, 1964 who survives. To this union was born three children: Robbyn, Joey and Shea.
Leaving to mourn is her husband: Jack Grimsley; a daughter and son-in-law; Robbyn and Tony Jewell of Greensburg; a son and daughter-in-law: Shea and Baeda Grimsley of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Chaz (Kristin) Jewell, China (Bryan) Thompson, Skylar (Jason) Hollon, Sarah Matthew (Austin) Matney, and Jackson Grimsley; six great-grandchildren: Ryder Sadler, Lily Thompson, Brylee Thompson, Jett Jewell, Ezra Jewell, and Matthew Austin Matney; a sister and brother-in-law: Rebecca and Odell Whittenburg of Tennessee; a brother: Fred Key of Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Joey Grimsley on October 22, 1971; three brothers: Rex, Randall and Jackie Key; and a sister: Luana Padgett.

The funeral services for Linda Marie Key Grimsley will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Central Time, Monday, April 28, 2025 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg with burial to follow in the Greensburg Cemetery. Bro. Brenson Bishop and Bro. Kevin Brantley Officiating.
Visitation is requested from 3 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Sunday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Monday until time of the funeral service.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church Crossroads Program or the Gideon Bible Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
