Linda Sue Maynard, 70, of Louisa, KY, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Sue was born October 9, 1951 in Kenova, WV to the late Babe and Opal (Golliue) Lee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Maynard; sister Patricia Lee; and brother Larry Lee.
Sue was a member of Buchanan Chapel Church. She retired from Three Rivers Medical Center and was a member of the Septemberfest Committee for over 20 years.
Survivors include her son Michael Layne Maynard; grandson Cody Layne Maynard; sister Barbara Robinson; brother Tommy (Marlene) Lee; niece April White; nephews Patrick Shannon Lee and Nicholas Scott Lee; in-laws Pat and Lonnie Ratliff, Kathy and Keith Bradley, and Kenny Maynard; many nieces and nephews; and special friends Betty Diamond, Valerie Music and Leslie Wellman.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Workman and Pastor Lonnie Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Hammond Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
