It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Suddaby Montgomery, beloved mother, grandmother, and dedicated professional, who peacefully departed this life on November 3, 2025, at the age of 74, born on December 10, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Palmer Suddaby and Violet Eickler Suddaby. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Scott Montgomery, and sister, Donna Mae Suddaby.
In her remarkable career, Linda devoted over 40 years to the hospitality industry, serving as a Director of Sales for IHG. Her commitment and passion for her work earned her the respect and admiration of both colleagues and clients alike. Upon retirement, she further enriched the lives of many as a substitute teacher at Trinity Christian School, sharing her love of learning and nurturing the next generation. She found solace and happiness in the simple pleasures of life, especially those spent at the beach, where she loved to bask in the sun and the beauty of nature.
Linda cherished her family above all else. She is survived by her children, Meagan (Briggs) Coker and Ryan (Jess) Montgomery; grandchildren, Ryleigh and Ansleigh Coker; sister, Sue Phillips; and nephew, Zeke (Jaclyn) Phillips.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held on November 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM at McKoon Funeral Home in Newnan, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time. A Rosary service will be held at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
As we say goodbye to Linda, let us remember her vibrant spirit, her endless love for her family, and the many lives she impacted throughout her journey. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in our hearts.
