Born in Bridgeton to the late Gladys Javery, she was the wife of the late Sherman Moore, Jr. Linda had been a resident of Fairfield Twp. for 53 years.
Linda had worked for the Bridgeton Evening News in Bridgeton as an inserter for several years. She also was a dedicated homemaker who tirelessly raised her family and cared for her home and husband. In her free time, Linda enjoyed playing bingo, fishing and crabbing. Feeding people was her love language and she was famous for her coleslaw that everyone was always asking her to make.
She is survived by; her children, Kimberly Simonds (Wayne) and Kelly Seay; nine grandchildren, Jessica Simonds, Rebecka Reigel, Sheila Simonds, James Simonds, Jr., Tyler Johnson, Zachary Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Anthony Johnson and Austin Johnson; nine great-grandchildren and special friends to the family, Sammy Norton, Beverly Harris and Joanna Harris. She was preceded in death by; her husband, Sherman Moore, Jr. and her siblings, Earl Javery and Darlene Swanson.
A celebration of life will be held at 413 Clarks Pond Rd., Bridgeton, NJ 08302 on Saturday, March 22nd, at 2 PM. Interment will take place privately at Old Stone Church Cemetery in Fairfield Twp.
