Linda Ortscheid

Linda D. Ortscheid, age 76, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at her residence in Wisconsin Rapids.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Burial Rites will take place following the service at Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids.
Linda was born on November 18, 1948 in New Lisbon, WI to the late Woodrow and Florence (Cook) Ortscheid. Professionally, Linda was a millworker for Consolidated Papers in Wisconsin Rapids, retiring after 30 years in October of 2000. In her free time, Linda always enjoyed watching the Packers, Badgers and NASCAR. She loved swimming, playing pool, horseshoes, and shaking dice; especially the shake of the day on Sundays at Mickey's Tip Up with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who had the honor to know her, especially her group of best friends, "the bitches", on their yearly trips to Door County.
Linda is survived by her children, John Ewell, and Joann (Chris Kruger) Beachem; grandchildren, Nikki Peters, Jon Passehl, Steven Ewell, Tanya Beachem, Breeanna Beachem, and Dustin Ewell; great-grandchildren, Addison Passehl, Easton Passehl, Jase Schultz, Skylar Peters, and Greyson Peters; brothers Bob (Mary) Ortscheid, Ralph Ortscheid, and Mike (Cathy) Ortscheid; sisters, Kathy Smith, Bonita (Mike) Dunn, Joan (John) Barton, and Pam Sisson.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; baby sister, Mary Allen; brother Mark (Theresa) Ortscheid; and brother in law, Terry Sisson.
