Linda Salter Pecoul, age 90, passed away on October 4, 2025.

She was the beloved wife of Ferdinand Anthony Pecoul, Jr, for 62 years. Loving mother to Rene Pecoul Scott of Santa Monica, CA and Rebekah Pecoul Fendlason of Warrenton, VA; grandmother of Warren Fendlason of Warrenton, VA and Matthew Sokol of Los Angeles, CA; daughter of the late Charles and Lucille Salter of Summit, MS. She was preceded in death by he husband, Ferdinand Pecoul; her brother, the late Charles Salter of Atlanta, GA, and Dan Fendlason, her son-in-law, of Purcellville, VA.

She was born in Monroe, LA on September 4, 1935 and resided in Jackosn, MS and Yazoo City, MS before attending the University of Southern Mississippi where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority.

She taught kindergarten for 17 years at Episcopal and Baptist church schools in the Metairie, LA area and was retired from the Freeport-McMoran legal department in New Orleans.

She was a resident of Long Beach MS and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Long Beach.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the Biloxi National Cemetery.

The Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport, served the family.
