Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Jo Ann Bradley will begin at 10:00 on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with the Reverends Dr. Dan Lanier and Dr. Wade Phillips officiating. Interment rites will follow at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Bradley, age 81, of Meridian went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 6, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Jo Ann was born on February 28, 1944 in Meridian, Mississippi. She graduated from Meridian High School. Following graduation, she attended Matty Hersee School of Nursing. Later in life, she received her Bachelors of Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi. Jo Ann was a dedicated employee, working for many years at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. Later, she assumed duties as Inservice Education director at Matty Hersee Hospital, then advanced to assistant director of nursing and director of nursing. After returning to Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center, she became the nurse manager for the Post-partum/GYN and the same-day surgery department. She retired in 2010 with 50 years of Nursing experience. During her career in nursing, she was president of the Mississippi Nurses Association District 16, and served on the Mississippi Board of Nursing. Mrs. Bradley was known for her kind, compassionate heart, whether in nursing or in everyday life.
Jo Ann was a faithful member of Northcrest Baptist Church, helping to teach the 4 year old Life Group with her daughter Monica, as well as working on many projects with her daughter, Sonja, for the children of Northcrest.
Jo Ann was an avid reader and seamstress before health issues prevented her from enjoying these activities. Her favorite activity was being with her granddaughter, Emily Grace Murray.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Monica Bradley and Sonja Murray (Tim); granddaughter, Emily Grace Murray; sisters, Nancy Harris and Rosa Leigh Garrard (Roger); special cousin, Patsy Kynerd; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Edwin Bradley; her parents, J.C. and Mary Napp; and one brother, Rev. Jessie Lee Napp.
Pallbearers will be Ed Bradley, Doug Bradley, Shane Garrett, Justin Walden, A.J. Napp, Daniel Harris, David Harris, Joey Walden, Jeff Cullum, and Daryl Mathews.

The family will receive guests from 5:00 until 7:00 on Friday, October 10 at the funeral home.
